Does the 2008 Yankee stadium bear any more resemblance to the 1923 Yankee Stadium than the 2008 Soldier Field does to the 1922 Soldier Field (Municipal Grant Park Stadium at the time)?
I’d say it’s less like it’s predecessor than the current Soldier Field is. That said: who cares about the demolition of Yankee Stadium - it’s just another stadium from the 70’s that didn’t stand the test of time.
