❤ LUV ❤

I recently read an article on dead trees (so no link - sorry) about how it makes no economic sense for Southwest to continue allowing bags to fly free on their planes.

The increase in customers they’ve seen (2-3%) is not more than the revenues they’d receive if they started charging for bags - like most of the other domestics these days. So they are effectively losing money by following this irrational course.

Yet, in spite of this information, Southwest continues to leave money on the table and treat their customers like human beings. And they are a public company! How do shareholders allow that?
